This kitchen is part of one of the exclusive spaces at Casa Recoleto, located in the attic—one of the most private areas of the residence. Casa Recoleto is a unique concept that combines an art gallery, boutique interior design services, and a private bed & breakfast in the heart of Jávea, Spain, along the stunning Mediterranean coast.
The central cube divides the different areas of the attic. Materiality takes center stage, with the prominent use of smoked oak. Within the cube, there is a courtesy bathroom and a pantry, which separates the living/dining areas from the kitchen.
The kitchen features a column area designed to integrate appliances and provide ample storage space. Notably, there is a small niche for both cold and hot beverages, adding to the functionality of the space. The rest of the areas are equipped with drawers for added convenience.
In the living area, there is a wine cellar and supporting furniture for the dining and living spaces, perfect for displaying decorative objects and art.
The height of the ceilings, combined with the selected materials, creates a more intimate atmosphere.
